The Stamou Hotel was built two centuries ago by the Pantos family, a well-known and wealthy family that was active abroad and in Greece and especially in their place of origin, Zagora Pelion.
More specifically, Alexandros Pantos was a great benefactor of the village and founder of the Panteion School in Athens.

It passed into the hands of the current owners in 1995, when it was fully restored, with respect to the architecture and the particular style of the building. Since then it has been operating continuously as a traditional A’ class guesthouse throughout the year.

In 2019 the guesthouse was renovated again, acquiring a modern and light feeling while always maintaining the character of the mansion, luxury and the true meaning of hospitality.
